Batman Dark Knight Premiere

Rumour has it that both teenager Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung were sporting Nubar nail varnishes from the Vineyard Colours range to the Batman Dark Knight premiere in London. They’re big fans and so are we… just about a month ago we trialled around 2 dozen colours in office and, man, were they intense. It was great. Everything from neon yellow, green, pink, blue and orange to deep purple, black, blood red and a few others. We only needed two coats for completely saturated nail colour.

Our favourite range was, by far, the aforementioned Vineyard Colours. We really liked the deep reds and purples… all very cool for the past few years and going to be in this fall too. Trends aside (one of the most universally loved fashion and beauty icons did so sagely point out that fashion fades, and only style remains the same), we think the deeper colours are really flattering on a range of skin tones. You can see the box of the entire collection of Formaldehyde-, Toulene- and Phthalate-free varnishes below. The only caveat is that the colours are more matte than shiny so you definitely need a top coat. But they look good either way — matte or shiny.
