*Waves* Hello ladies and gents I am back from my Christmas trip around the country. I had a great time even though I wore the same manicure for 5 days which drove me moderately crazy! I didn’t get a lot of beauty related stuff for Christmas. Somehow people think I have enough already…. But here is a Christmas present I got for myself earlier.

 

 

This is a haul from a while back. “Cheers” was Nubar’s Christmas 2007 collection. Even though I’m sort of afraid of wearing (and trying to photograph) reds, I still love them.

Just received some new Nubar neons last week from sparkling*nails on eBay, and this is the first one I try. I’m really digging these polishes! This one is a bright (not quite neon imo) aqua blue that’s just a little too green on me to make it a perfect blue. And it applied flawlessly in 3 very thin coats! I can’t wait to try the others I got

NOTD: Nubar Walnut

 

Slightly delayed NOTD post. I had to make room for “Happy Holodays”! This is what I wore right before my holo.

After spending some quality time with a piece of felt and some nail polish remover, I finally got rid of my Blue Sparrow mani. I ended up with smurf cuticles but whatever!

Today’s mani is Nubar Walnut which doesn’t look very walnutty to me. It’s a reddish brown with very subtle shimmer. In most lights it looks like a creme. Application was good. I could probably have stopped after two coats if I hadn’t been so sloppy. This is 3 coats:
